Who am I? My name is Michael Wix. I’m a New Zealander who has been in China full-time for the past 12 years learning Chinese Martial Arts. Over the past 20 plus years, I have tried many of the Chinese styles out there, and came to the realization that Shuaijiao is the essence of China’s combat heritage, and still one of the most practical fighting arts in China.

It was master Li Baoru who helped me make that realization. And this site is dedicated to helping you do the same too.
