Technique of the Week - Cuo Wo

This week’s technique is called “Cuo Wo”.
I find Cuo Wo to be more difficult than it looks. Two key things to remember. One is the direction of the pull and push. It needs to be in the opposite direction of the foot attack. Second, the foot attack is not a kick, it is merely a rotation of the hips - leg - and foot with a small lift of the leg and foot… did i describe that clearly?     Nice technique! Haven’t seen this one before. Looks very similar to another move I’ve learnt, called “di gua jiao”, where you use your foot to pull your opponent’s leg backward.
